Even though this information is viewable from within the MacAddict Tour interface, we've been getting tons of letters asking us "Who's the band?". So here's all the info, plain and simple, for the artists you'll find in this month's Tour. If you like their music, drop these guys a line, or better yet, buy their CD's. Enjoy!
Chaos of the Heart was written and recorded in 1997 in Stockholm, Sweden. "The voice is my ex girlfriend reading some kind of obscure poem. The particular phrase "Chaos of the Heart" caught my attention and I decided to use the sample in the smooth electronic soundscape I was working on. The song has been used in numerous multimedia presentations - most recently in a huge internal Flash presentation for Pricewaterhouse Coopers." This piece was put together with Cubase running on a Spartacus!

Track 2: Tonight's the Time for Love (R&B Edit)
Label Drama! Music/AZEVO Records
Written by Zierra/Scott/Nubar/Brooks; Vocals: Zierra; Produced and Arranged by Nubar Brooks
Zierra first established her professional musical credential as the stunningly beautiful and utterly electrifying lead singer of former European pop-dance sensation EuroGroove, guiding the supercharged trio to the top of record charts around the world with several hit singles and albums including "Move Your Body." Zierra is now embarking on a solo career that promises to bring her much deserved success in the United States, and if Zierra's track record thus far is any indicator, America's musical landscape is indeed about to be transformed into a glorious entertainment realm for a new and powerful pop princess of song and dance.
"This piece was recorded, mixed, and programmed on a G4 500 SP 256 RAM using an Adaptec 39160 SCSI card on a Cheetah 18 gig. Logic Audio Platinum 4.6 and MOTU 2408, mixed through a Mackie D8b. Mastered with T-RackS, samplers were Unity DS-1, Recycle, 3 K2500Rs, JV-1080 with orchestral, synth, and world cards, PC-88MX, Yamaha RY-30, TG-77, O1R. I monitor on Mackie HR 8/24s. I love them. The vocoder sample, "The Truth, the power, the new idea," was licensed by Digital Droo. Oh, and I played the guitar stuff on my Fender Strat Squier through Boss Heavy Metal and Sans Amp pedals. Libraries: (Sheesh!) Hanz Zimmer brass, Miroslav Vitous, Siedlaczek Advanced Orchestra, Essential Microwave, Burning Grooves, Transfusion." Mark is a Mac fan and a real musician who has many tracks you can listen to.
